Think about it...Have you EVER walked down the hallway to your hotel room and seen any drinking glasses on the cleaning cart headed for the dishwasher? I haven't. Paper Cups please!
I have stayed in literally hundreds of hotels all over the country. The only time I have ever seen a cart of glasses being transported from rooms to the back of the hotel (where they presumably were to be washed) was in Marriott Courtyard in Manchester NH. As for Holiday Inn, they are the nastiest hotels in the 2-3 star range.
Sometimes it is one of those things I wish I never knew, but I am glad I do. It is horrible, but I guess its not surprising. & as far as sleeping is concerned, I think I would be cleaner sleeping in the hallway.
