I only knew of bits and...Thanks for posting this!!! I only knew of bits and pieces of his story and I have quite a bit of respect for him. I can't imagine turning down the opportunity to go home because it was the right thing to do...who in our generation would do that! It is hard to know until put to the test. I am happy to say we were able to vote today and it felt really good to walk into the American Embassy to do so. By the time we were done, there was a line waiting to get in. I am thankful for the right to vote.
