Bobby Flay cookin us Dinner at the Mesa Grill

There is a good reason why some people are world famous for their cooking...it's simple.
They just do it better than all the rest...and that is what I would say about the dinner we had tonight...It was phenominal. Thanks Rick & Jan!

PS. Behind the head of the Blond (is this were at all legible) is "The next Food Network Star" runner-up Reggie Southerland. Quite a night of incredible food. Posted by Picasa

Been Layin the Hardwood...if you know what I mean...

Well...the long dark weekend of work is winding down...and all that is left is hauling off the mess. I finally got around to replacing all our carpet with Hardwood Floors this weekend. A special Shout Out to Jonny Jeppsen for all the help...and the "hook-up" on the hardwood. Let me take a moment..to say...if you think you might want some hardwood floors....Call Jonny and Hire him to do it for you...My Back and legs are so sore...I can hardly walk. Jonny works this hard all the time...He's the MAN!. now...as we continue...I still have a bit of a base delima...to use the old...or buy new...I guess it depends on how much money comes in from this little plea...elseways...I will try to use the old again...just not today. I will have to wait till we get back from our GIANT trip to New York City this week. I will be blogging from NYC...all this week. So stay tuned. Till Then. I will just lay here in my stupor of Doans pills, Advil, Midol, and Tylenol Arthritis cocktail that my wife has whipped up...and contemplate what my 40's and 50's are going to be like. Cheers! Posted by Picasa

Molly Claire Jeppsen

As promised...the first published pictures of the new baby!

even though Jen broke our agreement...nay...verbal contract...and had the baby a day earlier than she told me...(intentionally trying to put me off the trail). Much like the way a famous star would try to fool the Paparazzi about the true location of their wedding. Well....let me tell you something..missy! (meaning Jen...not Missy...as in Missy & Ryan) You would not be the Blog Star that you are today...without the Blogarazzi!...so go ahead and try to throw me off the trail...But I wll always know that you went to extreme measures to keep me away from the hospital. I had already taken the day off...and planned to be at St. Johns all day...just like we agreed.

I will be there...to cover Molly's first birthday. April 11, 2007. I bet you will even try to throw me off by having the dirthday party on the wrong day.

Rachel. When is your "plane due to land"... Posted by Picasa

From Las Vegas...

so...is it more important to have you name on your hotel...or get the subliminal messaging that if you come to Las Vegas and stay at the "Wynn" you might WIN...?

Makes you go...Huh? Posted by Picasa

From Vegas...

We have confirmation that the persisting rumors that FS Walker is some type of "secret government agent"... if trips to Ajerbijan (sp?) and other "hot spots" around the world don't prove it..I think that this photo if him that was mysteriously on my camera when I returned from Las Vegas... (Area 51...otherwise know as Paradise Ranch). I hope that I do not get in as much trouble as "Scooter" Libby did when he allegedly disclosed the identity of Valerie Plame as an undercover CIA operative to Robert Novak. Posted by Picasa

Fish anyone?

This is what happens when you take too many missions trips out of the country...you start to eat like the "locals". My friend Rog says never eat fish when you cannott smell the ocean...however I have also heard that the freshest fish is flown to the midwest...and what is served near the ocean is what comes from the bottom of the holding tank. Either way...I tried the "Lingua" tacos...and that is the last time I do that. Posted by Picasa
